This document explains how DocStudio can apply separate billing limits to envelopes sent through QuickSend, templates, and forms.
DocStudio can apply separate billing rules to different envelope sending sources.
An envelope can be sent in one of the following ways:
QuickSend
The user sends an envelope through QuickSend or one-time send.
Template send
The user creates and sends an envelope from a saved template.
Form send
The user creates and sends an envelope from a form.
Each sending source can have its own billing counter, limit, and pricing rule.
This allows the account to use different billing conditions for:
QuickSend envelopes
Envelopes sent from templates
Envelopes sent from forms
DocStudio also keeps the general envelope sending counter. This means that the system can check both the total number of sent envelopes and the number of envelopes sent through a specific source.
If a user reaches a billing limit for a specific sending source, DocStudio blocks the send action and shows the standard Billing limit reached modal window.
The sending source is also available in analytics, so account usage can be reviewed by source:
QuickSend
Template send
Form send
