How to Set Up Automatic Envelope Delegation

Automatically forward incoming envelopes from your mailbox to a delegate mailbox, and review key limitations.

Configure Automatic Delegation

1. Open User profile → Forwarding.

2. Enter the delegate mailbox by name, UUID, alias, or email. — Optional: Set Effective until to stop forwarding automatically.

3. Enable Active forwarding toggle.

4. Click the button.

Notes and limitations

This section appears only for mailboxes with delegation permission.

• Envelopes with restricted delegation are not forwarded and still arrive in your mailbox.

• If the selected delegate already has access to the current role, auto-delegation does not apply.
