# How to Set Up Automatic Envelope Delegation

### Configure Automatic Delegation

1. Open **User profile** → **Forwarding**.
2. Enter the delegate mailbox by name, UUID, alias, or email.\
   — Optional: Set **Effective until** to stop forwarding automatically.
3. Enable **Active forwarding** toggle.
4. Click the <img src="/files/K7JcYSMWfNI70HMjNc3y" alt="" data-size="line"> button.

### Notes and limitations

This section appears only for mailboxes with delegation permission.

* Envelopes with restricted delegation are not forwarded and still arrive in your mailbox.
* If the selected delegate already has access to the current role, auto-delegation does not apply.
