# How to Manage Scenario Folders

### Create a folder

1. Open **Scenarios**.
2. Select the category where you want to create a folder.
3. Click **New folder**.
4. Enter the folder name.
5. Click **Create**.

The new folder appears before scenarios that have not been added to a folder.

> The **New folder** button is available to users with the required permissions. In **Official scenarios**, folders can be created only from the System mailbox.

### Open a folder

Click a folder to open it and view its contents. Scenarios added to the folder are displayed only inside that folder.

### Move a scenario to a folder

1. Click the **Scenario menu** button next to the required scenario.
2. Select **Move**.
3. Select the destination folder.
4. Click **Move**.

After the scenario is moved, it no longer appears on the main scenarios screen. Open the selected folder to find and run it.

### Manage a folder

Click the **Folder menu** button to access the available actions:

* **Rename** — changes the folder name
* **Move** — moves the folder into another folder
* **Delete** — deletes the folder

When deleting a folder that contains scenarios or nested folders, select how its contents must be handled and confirm the deletion.

### Switch between grid and list view

Use the **Grid/List view** button to change how folders and scenarios are displayed. Both views provide the same folder and scenario management actions.

DocStudio saves the selected view for the current mailbox. Grid view is used by default until you change this preference.
