The Envelope Audit Trail

This document contains an overview of the Audit Trail PDF including envelope and event information.

The Envelope Audit Trail is a PDF included in the full envelope archive. It contains general envelope information and a chronological record of envelope events. See the Glossary for DocStudio term definitions.

Envelope information

• Status — current envelope status.

• Subject — envelope subject.

• Time zone — time zone used for the dates and times in the Audit Trail.

• Receive date — date and time when the envelope was received.

• Sender — sender name and mailbox UUID.

• Expiry date — date when the envelope expires.

• Envelope UUID — unique envelope identifier.

Event information

• Mailbox — name and UUID of the mailbox associated with the event.

• User — name and UUID of the user who performed the action.

• Type — icon representing the event type.

• Description — recorded envelope event, such as Envelope sent, Envelope received, or Envelope completed.

• IP address — IP address from which the action was performed.

• Location — location associated with the recorded IP address.

• System — browser and operating system used to perform the action.

• Date — date and time when the event occurred.
