How to Read an Electronic Signature Using a Bluetooth Token

This document explains how to install Sign client, connect an IIT Bluetooth token, read the key, and confirm signing on a mobile device.

Before you start

Use this flow to read a qualified electronic signature from an IIT Bluetooth token.

Before you start:

  • install Sign client on your mobile device

  • update your OS and browser

  • turn on Bluetooth on your mobile device

  • keep the token nearby during setup

Install and set up Sign client

  1. Install Sign client for your device:

  2. Open Sign client.

  3. Register a new user with the Bluetooth token.

  4. Click +.

  5. Select the key type.

  6. If you use an Almaz-1K Bluetooth token, select Key media.

  7. Select Read.

  8. Select Key media again.

  9. Turn on the Bluetooth token and wait until it appears in the app.

  10. Select the token and enter the key password.

  11. Finish the setup and copy the key identifier.

Read the key

  1. Select the Other electronic signature device option.

  2. Enter the key identifier.

  3. Click Read key.

  4. Confirm the request in Sign client.

  5. Review the signer details after the key is read successfully.

If the token is connected and the key identifier is valid, the system shows the signer details.

If the token is unavailable, the identifier is invalid, or the request is rejected, the system shows an error message.

Confirm signing

  1. Click the button to continue.

  2. Click the button if you need to open the instructions again.

  3. Confirm the signing requests in Sign client.

  4. Repeat the confirmation for each document in the signing flow.

The first screen shows where to enter the key identifier.

The next screens show the signer details and the signing confirmation flow.
