# How to Add or Edit an Electronic Signature

### Create or replace your signature

Use an electronic signature when you want to sign documents in DocStudio. You can draw it or type it.

1. Open your **User profile**.
2. Click **Add signature**. If you already have a signature, click **Replace signature**.
3. Draw your signature in the dialog.
4. Optional: Switch to the **Text** option.
5. Click the <img src="/files/RgL0aTG9n3mbziwmAyeI" alt="" data-size="line"> button.
6. Click the <img src="/files/MIf3kGuDP0cGnUuX4l1p" alt="" data-size="line"> button.

The electronic signature is saved in your user profile.
