How to Add Users to a Verified Domain

This document explains how users are automatically associated with an account after a domain is verified and activated, and how access rights are handled for existing and new users.

Domain users are a special type of user that can be created, managed, and deleted by an account administrator.

Users with emails in a verified domain are automatically associated with the account that verified the domain.

Once you've added, verified, and activated a domain, you can create and manage users with the corresponding domains.

Users who registered before domain verification and activation are automatically assigned to the account with the verified domain. They do not lose any existing access rights to accounts or mailboxes.

Users who register after domain verification and activation are also automatically assigned to the account with the verified domain. They do not get access to any account or mailbox until an account administrator grants the required permissions.
