Application tokens

This document provides an overview of creating and managing application tokens for API access, including token expiration and revocation.

Application tokens let you authorize API requests and third-party integrations without using your password. You create a token in your user profile, set an expiration date, copy the token once, and revoke it when needed.

This feature can be disabled by an instance administrator. In this case, creating new tokens is disabled. All existing tokens stay valid until their expiration date.

You can create authorization tokens for use with the API and 3rd-party integrations.

Create a token

1. Go to User profile → Application tokens.

2. Click the button in the bottom-left corner.

3. Fill in the Token name and choose the Token expiration date.

4. In the confirmation window press icon.

Make sure to copy your token because this will be the only time you see it. You won’t be able to view the token again after you close this window.

1. Check the token list. Revoke tokens if required.

You will receive an email notification 30 days and 1 day before the token expires.
