How can I delete the envelope?

Move envelopes to Trash to clean up your mailbox, with an option to restore them within the retention period.

Delete envelopes from the mailbox list or from an open envelope. Deleted envelopes are moved to Trash first.

To delete an envelope, it must have one of these statuses:

• Completed

• Expired

• Cancelled

• Draft

Delete one envelope

This demo shows how to move a single envelope to Trash.

1. Open Mailbox.

2. Open the envelope.

3. Click .

4. Confirm by clicking .

Delete multiple envelopes

1. Open Mailbox.

2. Select the envelopes using the checkboxes.

3. Click To trash in the action panel.

4. Confirm by clicking .

Trash retention and restore

Deleted envelopes are stored in Trash for 30 days. You can restore envelopes from Trash during this period.

Where to find Trash

Trash is available from the mailbox navigation. Use it to restore envelopes or review what will be deleted automatically.

Envelopes are permanently removed after 30 days only if all participants moved them to Trash.

If not all participants moved the envelope to Trash, it is not permanently deleted. This can happen if a participant mailbox was deleted before moving the envelope to Trash. In this case, the envelope remains in Trash indefinitely.
