How to create a template link?

Generate a public initiation link to let users send an envelope without authorization.

Prerequisites

1. Create a template.

2. Set the envelope subject on the template level.

3. Assign a mailbox or email for all roles except Sender.

4. (Optional) Use Same as to reuse recipient settings for another role.

5. Set template access to Public.

If the template uses dictionaries, each dictionary must also be shared publicly (or marked as official).

Generate the link

1. Save the template.

2. Open the template list.

3. Open the template action menu and click .

4. Click .

5. Copy the link and share it with the person who should initiate the envelope.

Embed code and redirect URL

The same modal contains an embed code. Use it to start envelope creation in an iframe.

You can also add a redirect URL. It opens in a new tab after sending the envelope.

Add the redirectUrl parameter to the initiation link or embed code:

?redirectUrl=https%3A%2F%2Fexample.com%2Fthank-you

Revoke the link

• Click to disable the current link and embed code.

• Click to create a new one.

• Revoked links cannot be restored.
